Department of Sociology & Social Work
If you want to expand your understanding of and empathy for human society, consider a degree in sociology or social work. Learning from a Christian viewpoint, you'll gain skills that go beyond the classroom, reaching into the lives of people with diverse needs. You will be part of an environment that fosters questioning and growth and is working to build a foundation for the future.
With programs in sociology, social work, and criminal justice, you can dig deeper into the study of people and society as a whole.
Center for Justice & Reconciliation

Among other events and activities, the CJR hosts a South Africa study abroad program, Urban Term, and an academic urban immersion program in City Heights, during alternating summers.
