Community Classroom
Students have the opportunity to study abroad in a community classroom, a cross-disciplinary program in partnership with non-profit businesses and residents representing various ethnicities serving as cultural guides. Students live communally in City Heights for a semester of cross-cultural experiences which integrate academics, faith, and experience.
Accounting Program Excellence
Point Loma Nazarene University had the 3rd highest pass rate in California behind UC Berkeley and UCLA on the 2010 certified public accountant (CPA) exam, according to the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA). PLNU was number one among private and Christian universities. PLNU graduates also had the highest average score in the state on the exam.
