Time Out
In addition to the Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning Chapel offerings, PLNU offers students an evening service called Time Out. Held on Wednesday nights at 9:30PM in Brown Chapel, Time Out is a student-led informal gathering that allows space for worship through song, encouragement and instruction through student, staff, faculty, and guest preachers and opportunities for prayer and fellowship. Time Out is a collaborative endeavor between Chaplaincy Ministries and the ASB Director of Spiritual Life.
Colossians 1 says "For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
During Time Out on January 12, 2011, a live worship album was recorded. George Williamson, Director of Worship Ministries, joined by a talented band of PLNU alums, led worship that evening with a community of Time Out attendees.
